BALINTAWAK INSTRUCTOR TRAINING PROGRAM (BITP)

The Balintawak training course is designed to train teachers in Balintawak Escrima, recognized by the International Balintawak Organization and the World Eskrima Balintawak Arnis Federation (WEBAF),  anyone can attend who wants to learn / deepen their understanding of this practical  style of martial arts.   In the Balintawak style, there are no convoluted lessons and training using stick , knife or boxing techniques, because our aim is to train fighters and give competence in self protection and practical self defence.

We welcome people of all levels, martial artists and newcomers. If you have a sense of loyalty, positive attitude and you are really interested contact us.  It does not require any previous experience in martial arts or combat sports / arts.

The Balintawak Instructor Training Program (BITP) has been designed and structured to provide the skills necessary to understand the style and teaching methods in order to learn the system and ensure that a high quality of students and instructors is maintained.

The course will cover Levels 1 to 7, when you have reached the required understanding and competence in each level you can then take an examination and if you pass a certificate will then be awarded in recognition of your achievement.

The exam will be taken directly under the European Chief Instructor Master Richard Cotterill.  With levels 6 & 7 issued by Grand Master Bobby Taboada
